Where is the NEAREST ski resort (From San Fransisco)? - lake tahoe ski resort map
I realized that the ski resorts at Lake Tahoe and Reno are the 3 ~ 4 hours by car, and I wondered if there was a decent ski resort / mountain near San Francisco, which could last hours or 2nd

Nice Info.
I think Colorado ski resorts are the best ones to go for and they are near to your place.
A ski resort 2 hours drive from the Bay Area? I do not think unless you live in East Contra Costa County.
The following places are in the corridor of I-80 near Donner Summit. No delay, put these places are just 3 hours.

Sometimes the seams Bear Valley is 3.5 hours to travel is a little closer to the Soda Springs - Donner Summit area.
Skiers can I avoid big picture-80 Sacramento, retail outlets and commuter traffic.
